Who We Are
The Coos County Master Gardener program started in 2000. We are a group of volunteers that strive to help our communities grow their own food and have sustainable gardens that adapt to the changing environment and climate.
What We Do
Coos County Master Gardener program holds plant clinics both at the Coos County Extension office in Myrtle Point and out in the communities we serve at farmers markets as well as at Shore Acres State Park. We also have an educational booth at the Coos County Fair and put on a yearly seminar called Fertilize Your Mind where people can learn about a variety of gardening and home horticulture topics.
