Who We Are
OSU Extension Baker County Master Gardener program
Is an educational volunteer program conducted by Oregon State University. We are members of the local community who take an active interest in lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, landscapes and gardens. We are enthusiastic, lifelong learners, and work side by side with many community groups and members. Master Gardeners are community educators, and contribute time as volunteers, working through our county’s Extension office to provide horticultural-related information to the local community.
Master Gardeners are volunteer representatives of Oregon State University Extension. In all work related to the program, Master Gardeners follow the research-based recommendations of OSU Extension Service. The title “Master Gardener” can only be used by volunteers engaged in Extension-sponsored activities.
