Who We Are
The Lane County Master Gardener Program, part of the OSU Extension Service, connects people and plants to build healthy communities. Our volunteers share research-based gardening knowledge through the Plant Clinic, community gardens, workshops, and youth education. We’re committed to making sustainable gardening accessible and inclusive for everyone—because when we grow plants, we grow community.
What We Do
Lane County Master Gardeners share their knowledge and passion for gardening to support a healthier, more connected community. Volunteers provide research-based answers to plant and pest questions through the Plant Clinic, care for demonstration and community gardens, and lead educational events for youth and adults. By volunteering, you’ll gain hands-on experience, grow your gardening skills, and make a real difference—helping others learn to grow food, support pollinators, and care for our local environment.
