Position: Compost Specialist volunteer working with youth
Description: Topics include compost chemistry; composting methods, including hot, cold, sheet, bokashi and worm bin composting; organisms in the compost; the environmental impact of solid waste; trends and issues of commercial compost; and Love Food Not Waste. Participants will also have hands-on experience of various types of composting.
OSU Compost Specialists volunteer 20 hours to become certified.
Requirements:

pass a criminal history background check.
